Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain in Williamston, NC is seeking a Youth Development Professional to plan, organize, promote, and implement diverse programs across core areas. You will support youth success, facilitate learning experiences, and ensure safety and orderly club operation.

The role emphasizes guiding members, mentoring volunteers, and partnering with staff to run quality programs and events.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with youth and knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with youth, families, and staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and engage young people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare youth for success and support learning and development across core program areas.
• Create an environment that fosters safe, positive youth development outcomes.
• Promote participation in daily learning activities and special events.
• Orient new members to programs, safety rules, and club policies.
• Provide guidance and model constructive behavior for members.
