Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain is seeking a Youth Development Professional to deliver diverse programming for members aged 6–18. Under the Unit Director, you will plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate programs across education, technology, arts, physical education, and health and wellness.

You will promote participation in club programs, provide guidance and role modeling, maintain attendance records, supervise volunteers, and help ensure a safe, engaging environment that supports

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth ages 6–18.
• Demonstrated experience conducting youth activities.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Experience planning and implementing engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that supports Youth Development Outcomes.
• Orient new members to program areas and safety rules.
• Supervise volunteers and program assistants.
• Maintain attendance records and monitor participation.
• Ensure club safety and the appearance of the Club at all times.
• Assist with driving the Club van as needed.
