Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a Youth Development Leader to support before/after school programs in Katy, Conroe, and Humble ISD. You will create a safe, engaging environment where youth learn and grow, and build meaningful relationships with families and staff.

In this part-time role, you will lead activities, monitor safety, and uphold YMCA values while meeting licensing standards. Flexible hours, training, and growth opportunities are available within a mission-driven community.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and above for program leadership roles.
• Experience with youth in licensed settings preferred.
• Ability to obtain necessary background checks and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging before/after school and day camp activities.
• Monitor safety, sign-in/out procedures, and behavior guidance.
• Engage groups of youth with age-appropriate activities.
• Build positive relationships with youth, families, and staff.
