The YMCA of Greater Houston is looking for a passionate Youth Development Leader to join our team. This part-time role involves working in before/after-school and day camp programs, fostering a supportive and engaging environment for children. You will champion safety, guide positive behavior, and lead activities that inspire youth to learn and grow.

Ideal candidates should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess experience working with youth. The position offers flexible schedules and the chance to make a lasting impact on the community.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Six months of experience working with youth in a licensed facility or similar setting.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention training (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate activities.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to pass state/local background checks and fingerprinting.
