Zusammenfassung

The YMCA of Greater Houston is hiring Youth Development Leaders to support before/after school and day camp programs for Katy ISD, Conroe ISD, and Humble ISD. This role includes a temporary $3.00 per hour stipend in eligible locations, in addition to base pay.

You'll foster safe, engaging environments where children learn, play, and grow, building positive relationships with families and staff while upholding YMCA values and licensing standards.

Qualifikationen

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of youth experience in a licensed setting.
• CPR, First Aid, AED training or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate activities.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Pass state/local background checks and fingerprinting.
• TB test and required immunizations per state/local guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Create a safe, fun and enriching environment in before/after school and day camp programs.
• Monitor safety, lead activities, and support youth development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and YMCA team.
• Model YMCA values in daily interactions and program delivery.
• Maintain program space to meet licensing standards and keep areas clean.
