Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking Youth Development Leaders for our before/after school and day camp programs serving Katy ISD, Conroe ISD, and Humble ISD. Earn an additional $3.00 per hour stipend on top of base pay.

The role emphasizes safety, positive behavior support, and engaging activities that help children grow. You will build relationships with youth, families, and staff while modeling YMCA values and ensuring licensed-by-state program standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months experience with youth in a licensed setting.
• CPR, First Aid, AED,and Child Abuse Prevention training (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead before/after school and day camp programs with energy and compassion.
• Create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for youth.
• Follow YMCA policies and state licensing standards.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
