Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is hiring Youth Development Leaders for Before/After School Programs serving Katy ISD, Conroe ISD, and Humble ISD. Earn a temporary $3.00 per hour stipend, in addition to base pay, for eligible locations.

The role supports after school and day camp activities, emphasizing safety, inclusion, and positive youth development. Positions are part-time with afternoon hours and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED training or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with youth in licensed facilities or schools preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and immunization requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead before/after school and day camp activities.
• Create a safe, engaging environment for youth.
• Monitor safety, sign-in/out procedures, and supervision.
• Build positive relationships with families and staff.
• Support daily operations and maintain clean spaces.
