Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is seeking a Junior Youth Development Professional in Milbank, SD. The role focuses on implementing the 5 key elements of positive youth development through daily interactions with youth, supervising programs, and upholding Club values of excellence, impact, teamwork and good character.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, following policies, attending staff meetings, and assisting the supervisor with trimester goals and program improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work within the school year operating hours of the Club
• Must be able to work within the summer operating hours of the Club
• Commitment to working four days a week

Responsibilities

• Implement the 5 Key Elements for Positive Youth Development.
• Supervise youth and assigned program areas.
• Ensure program activities follow Club policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety and security of youth in the facility.
• Attend monthly all-staff meetings, biweekly one-on-one and team meetings.
• Support supervisor in creating trimester goals and tracking progress.
• Provide daily feedback to supervisor on program operations.
