Job summary

The Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains is seeking a Lead Youth Development Professional in Milbank, SD. You will lead daily youth programming, supervise youth, and coach other staff to ensure a safe, positive, developmentally appropriate Club environment.

You will guide program areas, promote engagement, and uphold the Club’s values while maintaining documentation and collaborating with supervisors on performance goals. This role is part-time and non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate daily programs and events.
• Supervise youth and provide on-the-spot coaching.
• Maintain safety, attendance, and behavior records.
• Support Youth Development Professionals and volunteers.
• Uphold Club values and Five Key Elements for Positive Youth Development.
• Attend required meetings and collaborate on goals.
