Job summary

The Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains Milbank seeks a Youth Development Professional to support, lead, and encourage young people. You will foster positive relationships, supervise recreational activities, and promote safety and wellbeing in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing rules, organizing games and crafts, coordinating daily operations, and reporting on progress. The role emphasizes character development, teamwork, respect, and responsible participation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to four days a week.
• Availability for summer and school-year operations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules, model positive behavior, and mentor youth.
• Oversee daily operations of recreation areas and safety equipment.
• Organize and facilitate games, fitness events, arts and crafts, and daily music instruction.
• Greet members, encourage group activities, and promote inclusive participation.
• Collaborate with leadership to design activities that build relationships and confidence.
• Complete paperwork and incident reports, progress evaluations, and activity assessments.
