Job summary

The Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains in Milbank, SD seeks a Junior Youth Development Professional to implement the 5 Key Elements of Positive Youth Development in daily interactions with youth. The role focuses on supervision, safety, and building fun, supportive relationships in assigned program areas.

Key duties include delivering engaging activities, ensuring activities follow Club policies, attending monthly all-staff and biweekly meetings, and assisting with trimester goals.

Qualifications

• Commitment to four days per week
• Ability to implement behavior management principles as taught by the Club
• Current Boys & Girls Club Member (internal requirement)

Responsibilities

• Implement the 5 Key Elements for Positive Youth Development.
• Supervise youth and ensure safety in assigned program areas.
• Ensure activities follow Club policies and procedures.
• Attend monthly all-staff meetings and biweekly one-on-one and team meetings.
• Assist supervisor in creating trimester performance plan goals and track progress.
• Provide daily feedback on program operations and space improvements.
