La Frontera Center Inc. EMPACT-SPC invites applications for Children’s Urgent Response Specialists in Tempe/Glendale, AZ. Join a dedicated team delivering crisis intervention services across home, school, and community settings.

Requires flexible hours, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple systems to ensure continuity of care. Minimum high school diploma with BHT requirements; AZ driver license with clean record and fingerprint clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; BHT requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral field preferred.
• Experience in community behavioral health required; AZ Children’s Behavioral Health System knowledge.
• Five years in behavioral health preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• AZ driver license with clean record required; fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct crisis services in home, school, office, and community.
• Maintain client records and ensure quality service delivery.
• Coordinate care and communication with related departments and agencies.
• Adhere to agency standards of care and participate in quality management.
• Work nights and weekends; handle potentially volatile crisis situations.
• Oversee department vehicle use and perform basic safety checks.
