Job summary

EMPACT-SPC is seeking qualified Children’s Urgent Response Specialists to join our team in Tempe or Glendale. You will provide direct crisis intervention in home, school, and community settings, coordinating care with Behavioral Health networks and other agencies.

Required are a high school diploma, AZ driver’s license, a fingerprint clearance card, and strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; meet BHT requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral field preferred.
• Experience in community behavioral health; AZ Children’s Behavioral Health System knowledge.
• 5+ years preferred in behavioral health related work.
• Knowledge of AZ 12 Principles and AZ Vision.
• Ability to follow clinical and office protocols; work independently.
• Must have a valid AZ driver's license with clean record; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct crisis services in home, office, school and community.
• Ensure quality service delivery with clinical care and documentation.
• Coordinate communication with other departments to maintain continuity of care.
• Assist with Quality Management and Utilization Review as needed.
• Oversee department vehicles and report incidents.
• Work in potentially volatile situations and respond professionally.
