Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Behavior Sciences, or related field.
• One year of full-time experience in mental health, substance abuse, intellectual disability, or related services preferred.
• Crisis counseling experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and computer skills; experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Avatar EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen callers by telephone and collect demographic and clinical information.
• Determine eligibility for services and verify insurance coverage.
• Route and coordinate follow-up and referrals with team members and partners.
• Document data and maintain monthly reports on calls and referrals.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and participate in training.
