Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. seeks a Case Manager to deliver comprehensive services for the Growth Opportunities program, supporting justice-involved youth aged 15–18.

You will guide participants through an identified development plan, coordinate education and employment services, and maintain detailed case files. You will also build relationships with schools, mentors, and employers, organize tours and job shadow opportunities, and contribute to retention and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field plus two years of casework management experience
• Equivalent combinations of experience, education and training
• Advanced coaching techniques and procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, public speaking, problem-solving, analytical skills, multi-tasking, organizational skills, leadership, and time management
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and able to drive participants occasionally
• Cultural competency to engage effectively with youth and families
• Commitment to Servant Leadership

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive services of the Growth Opportunities program to participants
• Support and guide youth to reach goals and coordinate services and retention
• Generate reports and maintain case files (online and/or physical)
• Coordinate employer outreach for tours, job shadowing, speakers and job fairs
