Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Youth Outreach Specialist to connect with homeless-impacted youth, provide immediate case management, and link them to housing, employment, and healthcare resources.

You will work as part of a coordinated outreach team to deliver compassionate, practical support. This role emphasizes building resilience, guiding youth toward independence, and collaborating across programs to improve outcomes for families and communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Must be able to work with individuals who have experienced trauma.
• Ability to work in an active environment.
• Must have current Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must pass a background screening prior to starting.
• Valid AZ driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to show proof of registration/insurance.
• Must be 21 years of age to drive on behalf of CPLC, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct street outreach in the community where homeless youth congregate.
• Provide program information, care packs, and resource referrals.
• Support youth in navigating systems and accessing housing, employment, and healthcare.
• Collaborate closely with the outreach team to ensure effective, compassionate support.
• Empower youth to build resilience and achieve their goals for a brighter future.
