Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) invites you to join the Growth Opportunity Project's Workforce Case Management team in Las Vegas, NV.

The program serves justice-involved youth ages 15 to 18, offering paid work experience, mentorship, and career placement; education is a key component to reduce recidivism and empower youth. As Case Manager, you will provide comprehensive services, support and guide youth to achieve ISS goals, coordinate services with Youth Basic Education providers, and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with two years of casework or youth experience.
• Equivalent combinations of experience, education and training may apply.
• Effective coaching techniques and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Office365 preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive services of CPLC's Growth Opportunities program to participants.
• Support and guide youth to achieve ISS goals and education, employment, and training.
• Coordinate services with Education providers and staff; maintain case files and reports.
• Engage employers for tours, job shadowing, and participation in job fairs.
