Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking a dedicated Child Support Professional to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to youth in residence within the Community Residence Program. You will supervise, engage residents in therapeutic activities, and support families to promote stability and independence.

Responsibilities include individualized care, skill building, and collaboration with clinical staff to ensure a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• New York State driver’s license required.
• Experience with children with emotional/behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care, supervision, and emotional support to residents.
• Model positive behavior aligned with program values.
• Teach daily living and social skills; track progress.
• Maintain a therapeutic milieu encouraging emotional growth.
• Participate in household routines such as cleaning and meal prep.
• Assist with service planning and trauma-informed care practices.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities; ensure safety.
• Provide counseling and support for residents’ emotional development.
• Support medication adherence under supervision of clinical staff.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in family engagement and reunification efforts.
• Support program staff by attending mandatory meetings and events.
