Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking a compassionate Child Support Professional to provide supervision and therapeutic support to youth in residence at the Setauket Community Residence in Setauket, NY. You will deliver individualized care, teach daily living skills, and support residents’ emotional growth in a structured, trauma-informed setting.

Role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and engaging families to promote continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children with emotional or behavioral needs is preferred.
• A valid New York State driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care, supervision, and therapeutic support to youth in residence.
• Assist with skill development, independent living, and family engagement.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities; promote family involvement and community engagement.
• Maintain a therapeutic milieu and document progress and incidents promptly.
