WellLife Network in New York seeks a Child Support Professional to provide specialized care and supervision for youth in a Community Residence Program. You will support residents in daily living, skills development, and family engagement within a trauma-informed framework.

Key responsibilities include behavior support, counseling, documentation, and collaboration in service planning. A high school diploma is required; an associate’s degree is preferred, and a NY driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience with children with emotional or behavioral needs preferred.
• Valid New York State driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized care and supervision to residents, ensuring safety and emotional stability.
• Demonstrate positive behaviors and uphold the program’s core values.
• Utilize strength-based and trauma-informed techniques to support residents.
• Teach daily living and social skills; document progress and outcomes.
• Create a therapeutic environment and maintain household routines with residents.
• Participate in service planning and family engagement activities.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities; ensure safety during transport.
• Provide informal counseling and support; assist with crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete all documentation accurately and on time; report incidents promptly.
