Job summary

WellLife Network in New York is seeking a Child Support Professional to provide supervised, trauma-informed care and therapeutic support to youth in residence. You will work closely with residents, families, and clinical staff to promote safety, growth, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include individualized supervision, behavioral support, skill development, transportation, documentation, and collaboration on service planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Valid New York State driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized supervision and care to residents, ensuring safety and emotional stability.
• Demonstrate positive behavior and serve as a role model for residents.
• Utilize trauma-informed techniques to build resilience and support skill development.
• Teach daily living and social skills and document progress.
• Maintain a therapeutic milieu and household routines with residents.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities, ensuring safety during transportation.
• Provide informal counseling and support to residents and assist with crisis intervention.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
