Job summary

WellLife Network in Setauket, NY is seeking a Child Support Professional to provide supervised, trauma‑informed care to youth in residence within our Community Residence Program. You will deliver individualized support and skill-building in a structured, therapeutic environment.

You will also perform counseling, teach daily living skills, and coordinate transportation and family engagement while ensuring accurate documentation and safety for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Valid New York State driver’s license required.
• Experience with children who have emotional or behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised, trauma-informed care and support to youth in residence.
• Teach daily living skills, track progress, and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities; support family engagement.
• Document incidents and progress accurately and on time.
