YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Welcome Center Representative at the Egleston YMCA. This part-time position handles member check-in, safety protocol adherence, and information on memberships and programs while managing lobby traffic and phone inquiries.

Under supervision of the Director of Membership Sales & Service, you will deliver friendly service, maintain a neat lobby, and support policy communication. Weekend/opening shifts may be required to ensure member-first service.

Qualifications

• Provides excellent member service by greeting, listening, and addressing member needs.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced lobby environment.
• Uses Listen First approach to build relationships with members and prospects.

Responsabilités

• Present a welcoming demeanor when greeting members and participants.
• Arrive on time and wear uniform with YMCA name tag.
• Enforce YMCA safety and membership policies at all times.
• Work independently and solve problems to assist members.
• Be flexible to cover shifts including openings/closings/weekends.
• Conduct tours of the facility for prospective members, as needed.
• Answer member and non-member calls per YMCA policies.
• Communicate YMCA policies clearly to members and staff.
• Handle cashing out, balancing transactions, and mail drops.
