Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related STEM field with 2+ years semiconductor industry experience.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related STEM field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of device physics and semiconductor processing.
• Experience with DOE, statistics and data analysis.
• Familiarity with JMP or Minitab; basic coding in Python/JSL/SAS.
• Experience leading projects across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Drive the factory to produce transistor and discrete devices meeting specifications.
• Collaborate with Module, Integration, and Yield engineers to modify processes to meet quality and yield targets.
• Control initial end-of-line quality metrics and screen material before testing.
• Analyze root causes of discrepant device performance and implement improvements.
• Improve quality, reliability, cost and yield via feedback loops and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop solutions using solid-state physics, statistics, and problem-solving methods.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive their implementation.
