Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Yield Analysis Engineer in Arizona to tackle yield and reliability challenges across manufacturing stages. You will analyze complex test data, perform failure analysis, and develop advanced characterization techniques to improve yields and product quality.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes, apply statistical methods, and implement process enhancements that drive efficiency in high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Background in yield analysis, failure analysis, or process integration in semiconductor manufacturing
• Statistics and data analytics (yield modeling, SPC, DOE, correlation analysis)
• Wafer sort testing, defect metrology, E test, and fab data systems

Responsibilities

• Conduct yield analysis and failure investigations to identify root causes and recommend solutions to improve manufacturing yields and reliability.
• Analyze end-of-line test data, process parameters, and electrical measurements using statistical tools to extract meaningful insights and perform correlation calculations.
• Develop and implement advanced characterization and analysis techniques to enhance the efficiency and precision of failure analysis efforts.
• Perform electrical failure analysis (EFA) to address complex yield limiters across product development and high-volume manufacturing phases.
• Collaborate across teams to segment issues related to process, test marginalities, and product operation.
• Support process and defect characterization while developing innovative techniques to accelerate failure identification and root cause understanding.
