Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on site and to maintain a maintenance schedule for our rental fleet. The role requires basic math and good communication with customers in a safety-focused environment.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with construction tools, and some repair experience. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary.
• Inspects equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost and/or damaged equipment.
