Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Porter / Yard Worker in a fast-paced environment. You will station and retrieve equipment, keep a maintenance schedule, and inspect gear before and after rentals.

This role requires the ability to operate safely, communicate effectively, and perform basic math, with opportunities to advance to mechanic, driver or customer service roles. Education: high school diploma or GED preferred; experience with construction tools and some repair work is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred and basic construction tool knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand measurements.
• Familiarity with MS Office for documentation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Service equipment as needed to meet specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental and document losses/damages.
