Sunbelt Rentals–the fastest growing rental business in North America–is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker. The Yard Associate stations and retrieves equipment, keeps a maintenance schedule, may service equipment to meet specs, and inspects gear before and after rental to document losses or damage.

Education options include a high school diploma or GED; candidates should have experience with common construction tools, basic math, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and use basic math.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as needed to meet specifications.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document lost or damaged items.
