Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Porter / Yard Worker to join our fast-paced yard team. The role focuses on stationing and retrieving equipment, maintaining maintenance schedules and inspecting gear before and after rental to document any damage.

You will work in a safety-focused culture with opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver or customer service roles. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and related tool experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
• General mechanical aptitude and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment across the yard and location.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as needed to meet specs.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental to document damage or loss.
