You will position patients, select exposure factors, and administer contrast media within regulatory guidelines, contributing to timely PACS submissions and cross-functional care.

The role requires ARRT radiography credentials and Texas licensure, with rotating/PRN schedules at Seton Medical Center-Hays under the Diagnostic Radiology

Qualifications

• Licensure / Certification / Registration required.
• Radiologic Technologist specialized in Radiography credentialed by ARRT required.
• Radiologic Technologist specialized in General Practice credentialed by Texas program required.

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis.
• Position patients accurately and select exposure factors to ensure optimal image quality and safety.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice following regulations.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety and document history in EHR.
• Perform equipment quality control and submit digital images to PACS for streamlined workflows.

• Position patients accurately and select precise exposure factors to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols.


• Administer contrast media and medications within the Radiologic Technologist scope of practice following all state and federal healthcare regulations.


• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety and document clinical history within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.


• Perform regular equipment quality control and ensure prompt submission of all digital images to PACS for streamlined clinical workflows.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


• Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
