Job summary

Ascension Seton Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX seeks a Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and support physicians in accurate diagnosis while upholding radiation safety standards.

You will position patients, select exposure factors for optimal image quality, administer contrast per protocols, document clinical history in the EHR, and ensure prompt image submission to PACS.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire date; ARRT Radiography credential required
• Texas Radiologic Technologist Certification required
• High school diploma with 2 years experience or Associate/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable experience

• Schedule: Rotating | PRN

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as a Radiologic Technologist to assist physicians in accurate patient diagnosis and medical problem-solving.
• Position patients accurately and select precise exposure factors to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols.
• Administer contrast media and medications within the Radiologic Technologist scope of practice following all state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety and document clinical history within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Perform regular equipment quality control and ensure prompt submission of all digital images to PACS for streamlined clinical workflows.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
