Job summary

Ascension in Carmel, IN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, select correct parameters, and ensure high-quality images. You will administer contrast media within regulatory scope and monitor patients to ensure safety.

Responsibilities include radiation safety compliance, timely PACS documentation, and maintaining imaging equipment and department organization.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the ARRT obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

• Follow radiation safety standards and established protocols to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure timely submission of accurate, high-quality images and documentation to PACS; maintain equipment functionality, report malfunctions, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging department.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
