Job summary

Texas State Technical College is seeking an XR Developer to design and build immersive VR/AR/MR applications using Unity or Unreal Engine. You will translate learning objectives into engaging XR experiences, prototype reusable components, and ensure accessibility across devices.

You will collaborate with faculty, instructional designers, and engineering teams to integrate XR with LMS platforms and web technologies, while researching new XR/AI approaches to advance teaching and learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, Extended Reality, or a closely related field.
• 3–4 years of experience developing interactive software using Unity or Unreal Engine and languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating interactive 3D/XR development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, prototypе, deploy, and maintain immersive XR applications using Unity/Unreal Engine.
• Develop browser-based XR experiences with WebXR and integrate with LMS platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and ensure accessibility and performance.
