Job summary

Texas State Technical College seeks an Extended Reality (XR) Developer to design, build, deploy, and maintain immersive VR/AR/MR experiences using Unity, Unreal, and WebXR. You will translate learning objectives into engaging XR apps and partner with faculty, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions across devices and LMS environments.

Requirements: bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 3–4 years of XR development with Unity/Unreal; a portfolio of 3D/XR projects; experience

Qualifications

3-4 years of experience with Unity or Unreal Engine developing interactive XR
Portfolio/GitHub demonstrating interactive 3D or XR projects
Experience with source control and collaborative development workflows

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, prototypes, deploys, and maintains XR applications across VR/AR/MR environments
Integrates AI technologies and computable agents into XR experiences
Develops browser-based XR using HTML/JavaScript/WebXR and LMS integrations
Collaborates with instructional designers, faculty, and engineers to meet requirements
Performs testing, optimization, and debugging for performance and accessibility
