Job summary

Texas State Technical College is seeking an XR Developer to design, develop, and maintain immersive XR applications across VR/AR/MR. You will work with Unity/Unreal, WebXR, and integrate with LMS environments to deliver scalable experiences for faculty and students.

Responsibilities include prototyping, testing, debugging, and deploying across devices, browsers, and LMS platforms. A portfolio demonstrating XR projects is required; experience with AI-enabled features is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng/Game Dev/XR or related.
• 3-4 years of experience with Unity or Unreal and programming in C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Portfolio, GitHub, or demonstrable XR projects.
• Experience with VR/AR/MR and source control.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, prototypes, deploys, and maintains XR apps using Unity/Unreal Engine and related XR tech.
• Develops browser-based XR experiences with HTML, JavaScript, WebXR.
• Collaborates to define requirements and develop XR solutions with stakeholders and teams.
• Provides training and technical guidance on XR apps and setup of XR devices.
• Researches and evaluates emerging XR, AI, and immersive learning technologies.
