Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Peoria, AZ is seeking an X-ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic exams, position patients, and ensure safety and comfort while producing high-quality images.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification in Radiography, an active state license, an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, and 1–2 years of clinical experience. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• Active state licensure as required by law.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of X-ray Technologist experience, outpatient/clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients accurately to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
• Review images for quality assurance and follow image storage protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately and complete reports as required.
• Collaborate with radiology and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques.
