Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team at Gilbert, AZ. The role involves performing diagnostic X-rays with attention to patient comfort and safety, while delivering high-quality images to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT radiography certification, licensure as required, and an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, with 1–2 years of outpatient or clinical experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Current state licensure as required by law.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent) from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1–2 years of X-ray Technologist experience, outpatient/clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for optimal imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment with proper calibration.
• Review images for quality and follow image storage protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately and complete reports as required.
• Collaborate with radiology and health care teams to support patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques.
