SimonMed Imaging in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. The role focuses on performing diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision and patient comfort in mind.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification in Radiography, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and state licensure, with 1–2 years of outpatient experience. Collaborative, fast-paced clinic environment with ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Current state licensure as required by law.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of X-ray Technologist experience, outpatient/clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for optimal imaging results.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment with proper calibration.
• Review images for quality and store according to protocol.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Document patient information and complete reports as required.
• Collaborate with radiology and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
