Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks a skilled X-ray Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic exams with precision, compassion, and patient-centered care. You will position patients, evaluate images, and ensure ALARA principles within a fast-paced outpatient environment using PACS, RIS and EMR systems.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT (R), current state licensure, BLS, and 1–2 years of X-ray experience; an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1-2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and provide diagnostic-grade results.
• Maintain real-time documentation.
• Manage room and equipment; troubleshoot issues without delaying the team.
• Adhere to infection control standards in all patient interactions.
