Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. The role focuses on performing diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision, ensuring patient comfort and safety while delivering high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification in Radiography, a valid state license, and an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT (Radiography) certification and state licensure.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of X-ray technologist experience, outpatient/clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as prescribed by physicians.
• Position patients accurately to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment with proper calibration.
• Review images for quality assurance and follow image storage protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Document patient information and complete reports as required.
• Collaborate with radiology and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
