Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Avondale, AZ is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision and patient comfort. You will work within a multidisciplinary imaging team to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.

The ideal candidate has ARRT Radiography certification, state licensure, an associate degree in radiologic technology, and 1–2 years of outpatient imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography required
• Current state licensure as required by law
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
• 1–2 years of X-ray Technologist experience, outpatient/clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as prescribed by physicians
• Position patients accurately to achieve optimal imaging results
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, calibrate and troubleshoot as needed
• Review images for quality and follow image storage protocols
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines
• Document patient information accurately and complete reports
• Collaborate with radiology and healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Keep up-to-date with imaging techniques and technology advances
