Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Glendale, AZ is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision, ensuring patient comfort and safety while producing high-quality images for diagnosis.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification in Radiography, an active state license, and an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology; 1–2 years of experience in outpatient settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• Current state licensure as required by Arizona law.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of X-ray technologist experience, outpatient/clinical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams as prescribed by physicians.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Operate and calibrate X-ray equipment; ensure image quality.
• Document patient information and complete reports.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure patient care.
• Stay current with imaging technology advancements.
