Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks an X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging with precise positioning and real-time image evaluation. You will document results in PACS/RIS/EMR while upholding ALARA and safety standards, ensuring patient comfort and accuracy.

You bring ARRT Radiography certification, state licensure, BLS, and 1–2 years of outpatient X-ray experience, plus mentoring spirit and teamwork in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography and state licensure required.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of outpatient X-ray experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate images for technical quality in real time and document results.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient comfort at all times.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols.
• Document procedures in PACS, RIS and EMR systems.
