Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies under provider orders. You will position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and document encounters in the EMR, while ensuring safety and quality care.

ARRT certification is required; Virginia licensure is preferred if applicable. Candidate will join a team focused on patient-centered care, with responsibilities including equipment safety, travel to off-site locations as needed, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Virginia licensure requirements (as applicable).
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and protection.
• Set up immobilization equipment and position patients safely.
• Document patient encounters in EMR.
• Select appropriate technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment.
• Travel to other facilities as needed and adjust hours to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain sterile technique and report equipment issues promptly.
