CareNow is seeking an X-ray Tech/Medical Assistant to join our team. You will perform limited scope imaging, take vital signs, collect specimens, and administer IM injections in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You will update patient records in the EHR, assist with check-in/out, and help maintain logs for radiology and lab work. A valid LMRT/RT license in-state and BLS are required, with AAMA certification preferred.

Competenze

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO/ LMRT) license is required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Mansioni

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts accordingly.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs on radiology, in-house lab work, drug screens, and send-outs.
• Keep patients informed of clinic progress.
