Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant. You will perform imaging services, collect specimens, and support patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of clinical experience, an appropriate license (RT/LXMO/LMRT), and BLS certification. This role includes a sign-on bonus up to $2,000 and a comprehensive benefits package to support health, retirement, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical patient-care experience.
• Experience using an EHR system.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) or LXMO/LMRT license in state of residency.
• Current AAMA certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts accordingly.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR accordingly.
• You may apply splints, dressings and bandages.
• Assist with check-in/check-out when needed including auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs on radiology, in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
