CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will take vital signs, collect specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections while delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities include radiology services, EHR documentation, patient history, records upkeep, and check-in/check-out support. Licensure (RT/LXMO/LMRT) in residency state and BLS within 30 days are required.

Formación

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or LXMO/LMRT license required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the AAMA is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform radiology/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Document patient history and EHR entries.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for radiology, in-house labs, and outside tests.
• Inform patients and visitors about clinic progress.
