CareNow is seeking an X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role combines radiologic imaging responsibilities with clinical assistant duties, including vital signs, specimen collection, and EHR documentation.

Qualified candidates will have an LXMO/LMRT license in their state, 1+ year of clinical experience, and current BLS certification. Ongoing training and career growth opportunities are provided within HCA Healthcare’s CareNow network.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or LXMO/LMRT license is required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the AAMA is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform all X-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart auditing.
• Maintain radiology and lab activity records and logs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
