CareNow urgent care is seeking an X-Ray Technician - Medical Assistant to join our team. You will perform imaging, collect histories, update charts in the EHR, and assist with check-in/check-out, including auditing charts.

Requirements include a GMRT/LMRT/NCT license in state, HS diploma or equivalent, MA program completion, and BLS certification with 30 days of start. Prior clinical experience and EHR familiarity are a plus.

Competenze

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting (helpful).
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• GMRT, LMRT, or NCT license is required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the AAMA is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Mansioni

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out including auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and outside lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
