CareNow urgent care, owned by HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-ray Tech - Medical Assistant to join our team. You will perform imaging per physician orders, collect specimens, and support patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires relevant radiology/licensing credentials, BLS within 30 days, and EHR documentation. AAMA certification is a plus, with relocation and growth opportunities across the network.

Competenze

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• GMRT, LMRT, or NCT license required in state of residency.
• Current AAMA certification preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Breath Alcohol Screening and Drug Screening certifications within 3 months.

Mansioni

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform X-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and auditing charts.
• Maintain records for in-house and sent-out lab work and drug screens.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
